Dexter’s Delicious Mahi Mahi Fish Taco Recipe

On gorgeous sunny weekends, fresh mahi fish tacos make an excellent choice for any meal. Our friends at Dexter Knives have given us a recipe to try, featuring some of their most popular chef knives, making slicing and dicing much easier while cooking.

Let’s Prepare:

Sauce “Creama”:

Place all the below ingredients in a bowl mix to combine.

  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp of hot sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime

Mixing/Topping:

  • 1 cabbage, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Fish Seasoning:

Place all the below ingredients in a bowl mix to combine.

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1/2 salt

Let’s Make Tacos!

  1. Season your Mahi Mahi fillets with the fish seasoning by sprinkling generously on both sides.
  2. We are using a flat top, applying oil before cooking each side for about 4-5 minutes
  3. Shred your Mahi
  4. Heat up your choice of tortillas

Let’s Plate!

Place your fish, creama, cabbage and avocado in your tortillas (we’re using our favorite American Metalcraft taco holders) and enjoy!
